What are the factors that affect the process indicators of wire cutting
Last time we talked about the influencing factors of non-electrical parameters on the machining process indicators. Today we will talk about the influence of electrical parameters on the machining process indicators of wire cutting machine tools.
1. Pulse peak current
The pulse peak current increases when other parameters remain unchanged, and the single pulse discharge energy and processing current of the wire cutting machine will also increase. At this time, it can be clearly seen that the cutting speed of the middle wire line increases, and the surface roughness of the workpiece is reduced at the same time.
2. Pulse width
Under the condition that the machining current remains unchanged, the cutting speed of the wire cutting machine tool will increase with the increase of the pulse width (remind here that after the pulse width of the wire cutting machine increases to a certain level, the machining speed will not increase with the increase of the pulse. Therefore, the pulse width is generally not greater than 50μs), and the subsequent problem is that the surface roughness of the workpiece will rise.
3. Power supply voltage
The power supply voltage of the wire-feeding machine tool increases when the peak current and processing current remain unchanged, and it can be clearly seen that the cutting speed of the wire-feeding machine is accelerated, and the roughness of the workpiece surface does not change significantly.
