The working principle of the EDM punching machine is to use the metal copper tube to make continuous vertical movement up and down to carry out pulse EDM corrosion processing on the conductive material. The heat dissipation holes of the engine, the small holes on the sieve plate, the oil passage holes of the pneumatic components, the oil injection holes of the nozzle oil pump, the spinneret holes of the chemical spinning spinneret, the threading holes of the middle wire cutting, etc. are all suitable for EDM. perforator.
The EDM uses a hollow copper tube and then liquid or gas passes through the fine hole to cool and remove chips. The discharge of electrodes and metals produces high temperatures that corrode the workpiece, and can be used to machine superhard steel, cemented carbide, copper, aluminum, and any conductive material.
EDM punching machines can be roughly divided into two types, one is liquid perforation, and the other is gas perforation. Liquid processing may cause the pores to be blocked because the liquid needs to pass through the pores, so only 0.02mm holes can be processed. The depth can only be processed 0-300mm. Gas perforation is not easy to block due to the gas passing through the pores, so tighter holes can be processed.
What is the difference between EDM and wire EDM
1. The workpiece required by the EDM puncher should have a cross section or shape, and the EDM wire cutting moves along the electrode wire
2. The EDM punching machine has only one relative servo feed movement, while the EDM wire cutting has two horizontal directions and relative servo feed movements.
